ABOUT
The Dubai Design Week Marketplace is a new outdoor retail initiative incorporating 60+ invited vendors will present the best of Dubai’s artisans, creatives, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
The curated selection of vendors will offer original products predominantly sourced and made locally in various fields including
fashion, jewelry, homeware, beauty and lifestyle.
THE EXPERIENCE
Adhering to social distancing guidelines, the Marketplace will provide Dubai Design Week visitors with a range of engaging, entertaining experiences for all the family.

Design, create and take home your own 100% unique and upcycled totebag. Bring your own garment to use as lining or choose from our range of fabric which include car airbags, seatbelts and textiles from an aircraft.

There is a desire to emerge from this unique moment in time to play a part in remaking our world and living a more sustainable life. Join the movement.
In this workshop, participants will up-cycle fabric and materials into a useful tote bag which can replace plastic shopping bags. With the help of the Peahead.eco team, participants will personalise the design and learn how to sew a French seam, install a pocket, attach straps and box the corners of a tote bag.
Participants are encouraged to bring any garment/curtain or table cloth however it’s not a requirement and materials will be provided.
Please note: sewing machines are shared and therefore gloves and sanitizer will be used in accordance with safety requirements.
